it had an absolutely perfect setting not far from ometepe because of hurricane otto, and nicaragua. greatly enjoyed a nice size and reasonably large room that was provided with bathroom. everyone was very helpful.

We had the most wonderful time at Gio's. Him and his family were the most sweet, helpful, fun, friendly, and amazing people. We got stuck on Ometepe because of Hurricane Otto, but they made sure we could stay with them and be safe a couple of days more. Gio has become a friend and I would recommend this place to everyone travelling to Ometepe. And for sure, this is where I will go the next time! I miss it and wish I was still there.

The location is perfect, close to everything but still quiet. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had AC. The shared kitchen had all the cookware we needed. Free coffee and spring water were a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was delicious! Happy hour cocktails were a hit. The hammocks were so cozy. Gio and his team organized scooter rentals for us, which made exploring the island a breeze. The pickup and drop-off service was a nice touch. We felt safe and well taken care of. Can't wait to come back!

loved my long stay at a homely hostel in Moyogalpa. Staff went above and beyond, providing pick-up and drop-off at the ferry. Spacious room, comfy bed, and clean bathroom. Great location, only a short walk to the main street. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Casa De Gio!

Wifi was spotty.

We had an amazing stay at Casa De Gio! The owner, Gio, was incredibly friendly and gave us great recommendations for things to do on Ometepe Island. The room was clean and comfortable, with soft sheets and plenty of fans to keep us cool. We loved the peaceful atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The nearby soda had the most delicious batidos en agua that we couldn't get enough of. we highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay on Ometepe Island.

I highly recommend staying here, as the property is clean and conveniently located near transportation, restaurants, and bars in a quiet area close to the city center.
